Hello everyone. I hope you have enjoyed your vacation. APictureToA1000Words has and we are definitely ready to hit the ground running and get the group active again.
With that being said, we would like to bring back our Theme Challenge. With prizes and lovely rewards for those who participate.
What is a Monthly Challenge?
Every month you have a theme to cover in the form of photographs, digital art, traditional art, literature, crafts, or anything that can be submitted to the group. While there is not always points in the form of prizes, you can receive things such as badges, critiques, and even art from volunteering artists. Themes are chosen by the admins and the featured work can come from a variety of options (best deviation, most improved deviation, best cover of topic, or random).
* Suggestions of themes and topics are welcome but are decided upon by admins.
Rebirth
1. a new or second birth: the rebirth of the soul.
2. a renewed existence, activity, or growth; renaissance or revival: the rebirth of conservatism.
* Your due date is January 31, 2014 11:59PM EST

August's Theme of the Month
Hello there, you lovely members who have stuck around during our hiatus! We have a new Theme of the Month challenge for you with some points and critiques up as prizes.
This Theme will be a tiny bit different than the others...because of the vast diversity of artwork styles and mediums in Deviantart which we celebrate here in APictureToA1000Words, I'll be generating a different theme for each one of you with a word generator. The theme will be composed of two words that you can represent with any art medium you wish.
An example Theme:
1. Trousseau--Definition: The collective lighter equipments or outfit of a bride including clothes, jewelr

It's Been A Long Road...
Hello everyone!
First off I would like to say thank you for sticking around while the group was closed. I would like to next say that until EvelynTaliette (https://www.deviantart.com/evelyntaliette) is feeling better, I'm going to be running the group. I'm running several groups as well and so that means I'm going to be stretching my time to work and bring the group back up to speed!
The galleries are open again and you are welcome to start submitting your work! Please do! I want this group to go back being a very successful group! :heart:

Group Gallery Submissions...
...are closed until we get back on track.
All admins have been otherwise concerned during the past few weeks. It's time for us to re-evaluate our group and get back on track. Sorry for the wait, and for the small trickle of accepted deviations into the gallery.
Once everything has been sorted out, we'll have a Grand Reopening with a contest and possibly the introduction of a few new programs.
